Made for the Common Good DVD and Study Guide

This DVD with its accompanying study guide is part of the series created for the Marriage: Unique for a Reason initiative of the USCCB Subcommittee for the Promotion and Defense of Marriage. This initiative seeks to assist Catholics and all people of good will to understand the unique gift of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Its four themes are sexual difference (explored in Made for Each Other), the gift of children (Made for Life), religious freedom (Made for Freedom), and the common good (Made for the Common Good). The importance of marriage to the common good of society is explored in this DVD in view of the redefinition of marriage in the law. It is paired with a study guide to assist viewers and leaders in reflection and discussion on its themes.
